Ugh

So, I really don't want to turn into one of those complainy pregnant women, no offense to anyone out there that may be, may have been, or may have been labeled one at some point in their lives. I have to say though, that I really really enjoyed my first pregnancy. I was not throwing up, which is a thumbs up in my book. I do recall being very tired, but not as emotional as I am this time either. I have a short temper now, and can be pushed to tears much easier than ever in my life. I am still sick. I can go almost a week, lulled into the false sense of security that the sickness is over, then BAM. Back to barfing. I'm at a loss. I want to sleep all the time. The heartburn has already begun, and last time, it didn't kick in until the end. I'm hoping these next several months go by quickly. Not to be unappreciative of this blessing that God has given us, I just am not myself lately.

Oh, I will pray for you. I've heard things happen much faster with subsequent pregnancies. Awesome...

I don't think you are complaining. This is just what's happening in your life, so you talk about it. It's not fun to throw up all day! Allow yourself to be/feel whatever you want. That's the best way to get through it. And-pray!

I knew it! I knew it! I was going to leave a comment for the post that said you were so tired, and ask if you were pregnant...but I didn't. For some reason I thought it inapporpriate. But, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Does this mean something for the baby... like they say if you have a boy your skin gets really great, if you have a girl she sits up higher in your belly, etc. If you are sick all the time does that mean you are having puppies? or having an Amy Winehouse?

Lucas your comment is priceless. I though it meant I was having one of those hairless cats or something.

Congrats, Sam! Sorry you are feeling like total bootie with #2. My advice would be to take some extra B6 (bad hurling in pregnancy can be a sign of a B6 deficiency - and moodiness too) and some crystallized ginger. I get mine at Penzey's on Washington downtown Naperville. It helps SOOOOOO much! Hang in there! The longest it will last is 9 months!
